Our Team

Roger Pasquariello

Roger, a former teacher at Avon Public School, established Village Tweed 48 years ago. He made the bold decision to leave his teaching profession and take over the Hutch in Spring Lake, a shop he frequented as a student at Villanova. Roger transformed the Hutch into Village Tweed while preserving its traditional ambiance. Throughout the years, he has successfully guided the business, staying attuned to the ever-evolving trends in both business and casual menswear.

Patrick Soldo

Patrick became a partner and business manager after 26 years at PruPac. Since 2006 he has run the business end of Village Tweed. He took over from Art Pasquariello who worked at Village Tweed for 37 years, after a career in engineering. Art retired from Village Tweed in 2014 at the age of 103.

RJ Furlong

RJ joined the team at Village Tweed with an impressive resume in menswear. He received a masters degree in business before joining his family’s business, The Fair in Ocean Township. After 19 years he opened his own business, RJ Furlong & Co in Sea Girt Brook Plaza. RJ closed his business 23 years later and after a short retirement Roger contacted him and he is now in his 16th year at the Village Tweed.
